Basketball Game Preview: Newport Harbor Sailors vs. Live Oak Acorns

The Newport Harbor Sailors will be taking part in a tournament against the Live Oak Acorns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Newport Harbor came up short against Fountain Valley and fell 65-55.

Meanwhile, Live Oak suffered their biggest loss since February 9th on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Pioneer an easy 59-39 victory. The match marked the Acorns' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Newport Harbor, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
