Basketball Recap: North Bend Takes a Loss

North Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cottage Grove Lions. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

North Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Cottage Grove, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Marist the next time they take the court. North Bend will head out to face Marist at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while Cottage Grove will head out to face them at 5:45 p.m. on January 28th.
