With a playoff win on the line, Riverdale rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lebanon Blue Devils with a sharp 28-7 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Gavin Hampton threw for 113 yards and one touchdown. Braylon Burns was his top target, picking up 73 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Jacob Vaughn rushed for 284 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.

Riverdale is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.1 points over those games. As for Lebanon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will face off against Maryville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Warriors 10.9, the Red Rebels 8.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
