Southeastern extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 7-4. They blew past the Good Hope Raiders 12-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

As for Good Hope, they now have a losing record of 4-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since March 3, 2025.

For Good Hope's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Rutherford, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Rutherford has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeastern will host Leeds at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Good Hope, they will square off against Curry at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.82 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
