Basketball Recap: Kennedy Has No Trouble Against Juarez

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Butler, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Juarez Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-25 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Juarez lost, don't look at Martha Patino. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points. Rosamaria Babarinde also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Juarez, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 33-26 win against Christ the King on the 25th. As for Juarez, they will take on Phoenix Military at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Juarez is facing Phoenix Military at the right time seeing as Phoenix Military is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
