It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles, sneaking past 2-1. Trinity Christian hasn't had any issues with Heritage Christian Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Trinity Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Trinity Christian found their leader in sophomore Maddie Quick, who had 14 digs and three assists. Quick has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Trinity Christian has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against The Habersham School on the 3rd. As for Heritage Christian Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Sugar Hill Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
