Basketball Game Preview: Palisade Bulldogs vs. Lutheran Lions + How To Watch

The Palisade Bulldogs and the Lutheran Lions will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Palisade had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down Monarch 73-56 on Friday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lutheran challenged Fruita Monument on Friday. The Lions took a 79-61 bruising from the Wildcats.

Palisade didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lutheran in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-50 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
