Poteet waltzed into their match on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the Samuell Spartans 11-0. It was an even better day for Yaretzi Munoz as she scored three goals for her team.

Poteet's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those seven games. As for Samuell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poteet will take on Wilson at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Samuell, they will be playing at home against Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Samuell has given up an average of 3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
