Football Recap: Red Level Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Red Level extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-5. They were beaten by the Florala Wildcats 55-8. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Red Level still got an impressive performance from Malique Copeland, who rushed for 166 yards and one touchdown. The Tigers are 2-1 when Copeland posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

As for Florala, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 6.68 yards per carry in those games compared to only 0.14 in the others.

Greyson West was his usual excellent self, picking up 139 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 61 yards and one TD. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 73 yards. Another player making a difference was Gage Davis, who threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
