Volleyball Recap: Inglewood Sentinels vs. Beverly Hills Normans
Inglewood lost against Beverly Hills back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sentinels took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Normans.
Inglewood started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-9, 25-11, 25-21.
Jahmir Welch paced Inglewood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Welch got some help from Yahshua Nunnally and his 25 assists. Welch was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.
Inglewood has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Beverly Hills, they moved to 3-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
