Jonathan Morgan Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Clarksville got the W thanks in part to Jonathan Morgan playing the best football he has all season. Morgan threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 142 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.

Clarksville's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. Morgan and Clarksville will face off against Linden-Kildare at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cumby was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Justin Green did his best to prevent it. Green was dynamite, forcing a fumble and making 23 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

The defeat snapped Cumby's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. They and Bowie are set to duel on Friday.
