Football Recap: Davenport Falls to Spoto in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Davenport had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 43-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spoto Spartans. The Broncos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spoto to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jesse Harden, who picked up 110 receiving yards and four scores. Another signal caller making a difference was Daniel Pangallo, who threw for 158 yards and four TDs.

Looking ahead, Davenport will be playing in front of their home fans against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spoto, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Lennard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
