Morrow won the last time they faced Lovejoy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Morrow Mustangs had just enough and edged the Lovejoy Wildcats out 57-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Lovejoy's loss came despite strong showings from Malachi Ford and Noah Banks. Ford posted 11 points, while Banks earned 16 points. What's more, Ford also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caleb Carson, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Morrow's record now sits at 4-10. As for Lovejoy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-6.

Morrow will venture away from home to take on Banneker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lovejoy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lovejoy Wildcats duke it out with the Newnan Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Newnan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lovejoy surely won't give up without a fight.
