Volleyball Recap: Kaegan Vansandt Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Cassopolis + How To Watch

Brandywine lost to Cassopolis back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Bobcats skirted past the Rangers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted against the Rangers since September 21, 2015.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-100) Brandywine actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-22, 14-25, 16-14.

Brandywine got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaegan Vansandt out in front who had 16 assists and 13 digs. Those 16 assists gave Vansandt a new career-high. Addison Anglin was another key player, getting 15 digs.

Brandywine's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Cassopolis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4-3.
