Volleyball Recap: Eldon Mustangs vs. Osage Indians
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lebanon, Eldon was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Osage Indians as the Eldon Mustangs made off with a 3-0 win. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.
While Eldon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.
Reyna Taylor was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 20 digs.
Eldon pushed their record up to 15-6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Osage, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6-1.
Eldon will take on Versailles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Osage, they will square off against Fatima at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
