Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Lincoln County was the 81-36 winner over Troy when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lincoln County Lions were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 52-51 to the Troy Trojans. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Troy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln County Lions take on the Stillwater Christian Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. Troy has already played their next game (against Thompson Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
