Soccer Recap: Ravenswood Comes Up Short

Ravenswood lost against Wood County Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcat. Ravenswood have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ravenswood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wood County Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ravenswood will welcome Midland Trail at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ravenswood will be up against Midland Trail's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wood County Christian, they will square off against Cross Lanes Christian at 2:00 p.m. on September 6.
