Colonial Christian's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs with a sharp 40-14 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Kaelyn Pierre, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was IndIra Alvarez, who scored eight points and eight rebounds.

Colonial Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

Colonial Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Archbishop Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Colonial Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop Carroll, they will welcome Mater Bay Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Archbishop Carroll hasn't scored more than 25 points for eight games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.
