Football Recap: Joliet Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Joliet Central's offense. They were beaten by the Oswego East Wolves 77-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Steelmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 469th, while the Wolves are ranked 91st).

Joliet Central is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Oswego East, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Joliet Central will look to defend their home field on Friday against Plainfield Central at 6:30 p.m. The Steelmen will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Oswego East, they will head out to take on Bolingbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
