Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mater Dei Catholic). They walked away with a 68-57 win over the Mount Miguel Matadors on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Despite the loss, Mount Miguel still got an impressive performance from Jerome Radcliff, who posted 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Radcliff's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Jaidyn Landers was another key player, putting up eight points.

Mater Dei Catholic now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mount Miguel, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Coming up, Mater Dei Catholic will take on Ayala in a tournament on Friday. As for Mount Miguel, they will finish 2025 at home by hosting Del Lago Academy at 1:45 p.m. on the 30th. The Matadors will need to watch out since the Firebirds have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
