Volleyball Recap: Wasco Comes Up Short

Wasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Shafter Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Wasco was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Wasco's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Shafter, the win was the 27th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-1.

Wasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shafter, they will square off against Righetti at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
