Meanwhile, Providence Day suffered their biggest loss since March 8, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 8-2 to Covenant Day. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Chargers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Providence Day's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Charlotte Country Day School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Charlotte Country Day School has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Providence Day struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Charlotte Country Day School suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Providence Day in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
