Preview: Foothill vs. Redondo Union
The Foothill Knights will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against the Redondo Union Sea Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
With a playoff game on the line, Foothill rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 4-2. Tyler Valdez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Foothill.
Meanwhile, everything went Redondo Union's way against San Gorgonio on Friday as Redondo Union made off with a 7-1 victory. With that victory, Redondo Union brought their scoring average up to 2.6 goals per game.
Foothill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6-6 record this season. As for Redondo Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-2.
