Basketball Recap: Caledonia-Mumford's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Early College International wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Caledonia-Mumford, they should've done a better job of containing Collin Foote. The Caledonia-Mumford Raiders walked away with a 42-31 win over the Early College International Cobras on Friday thanks in part to Foote, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. He is becoming a predictor of Caledonia-Mumford's success: when he posts at least ten boards the team is 2-1 (and 5-9 when he doesn't).

Sean McNear was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

The victory made it two in a row for Caledonia-Mumford and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Caledonia-Mumford will host Geneseo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Geneseo will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Caledonia-Mumford surely won't give up without a fight. Early College International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
