It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grace Prep had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Brook Hill Guard with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2019.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, 25-17.

Grace Prep can attribute much of their success to Henley Gentry, who had 11 digs and three aces. Gentry has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 16 times she's played.

Grace Prep's win bumped their record up to 14-20. As for Brook Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-7.

Grace Prep is on the road again on Tuesday to play All S at 6:00 p.m. All S will roll in looking for their 28th straight victory, something Grace Prep surely won't give up without a fight. Brook Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
