Parkway South and Blue Springs South squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Parkway South had to settle for second. They fell 7-4 to the Jaguars. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Parkway South saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Simmons, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Parkway South's loss dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Blue Springs South, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 25-7.

As of now, neither Parkway South nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
