There's no place like home for Cair Paravel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Council Grove Braves on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Cair Paravel won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12.

Cair Paravel's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Council Grove, they are on a 34-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cair Paravel beat the Braves by a score of 2-0 later that day.
