League recap: San Fernando extends winning streak with victory over Canoga Park

Valley Mission recap November 5, 2013

San Fernando added to the longest winning streak in Valley Mission this week by beating Canoga Park, 41-21. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Sylmar took down Panorama 55-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

San Fernando's Cristian Solano and Jose Camargo have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Solano has thrown for 2,701 yards this season, while Camargo has 59 catches for 1,006 yards. Darius Jones from the Hunters leads the league in rushing with 1,592 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Reseda takes on the Spartans. The Regents are currently in fourth, while Sylmar is in second.

Chris richards' team led Valley Mission in scoring this week by notching 55 points on the Pythons.
