Volleyball Recap: Montini Catholic Find Success

Montini Catholic's tournament run continued when they took on Frankenmuth on Saturday. The Broncos had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Moira Quirk paced Montini Catholic's offense, picking up ten kills. Quirk got some help from Avalyn DeKeyser and her 37 assists. Finally, Quirk was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Montini Catholic now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Frankenmuth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Montini Catholic will head out to take on Willowbrook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankenmuth, they will venture away from home to square off against Garber at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
