Softball Recap: Shenandoah Comes Up Short

Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Shadyside Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in April.

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Shadyside, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah will take on River at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shadyside, they will venture away from home to take on Caldwell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redskins will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
