Volleyball Recap: Hartford Takes a Loss

Hartford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Brookfield Central Lancers. The Orioles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hartford saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tori Pohl had eight digs and three assists.

Hartford's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Brookfield Central, with the win, they broke their six-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-14.

Hartford has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against West Bend West on the 27th. As for Brookfield Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Kettle Moraine Lutheran on the 27th.
