Volleyball Recap: Sierra Beats Parlier for Their Fourth Straight Win

Sierra came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Parlier Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chieftains also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11, 25-19.

Sierra's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maci Watt, who had seven aces. Those seven aces gave Watt a new career-high. Brooke Gibson was another key player, getting nine assists and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Sierra was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Sierra's record now sits at 28-11. As for Parlier, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sierra is set to face off against their familiar foe Riverdale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Parlier will take on rival Minarets at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
