Bishop O'Dowd is 8-0-2 against Arroyo since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Dragons will head out to challenge the Dons at 3:30 p.m. Bishop O'Dowd's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, neither Bishop O'Dowd nor Mt. Eden could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Finley Zielke and Brady Barthmaier scored both of the Dragons' goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Arroyo's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 4-1 to Alameda. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Arroyo it sure didn't stay that way.

Arroyo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-2. With that draw, Bishop O'Dowd's record moves to 3-3-3.

Bishop O'Dowd was able to grind out a solid victory over Arroyo in their previous meeting back in January of 2025, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
