Baseball Recap: Necedah Comes Up Short

Necedah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Cashton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in April.

Necedah's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Cashton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Necedah has already played their next match (against Bangor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cashton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Wauzeka-Steuben on the 9th.
