Fernando Baldenegro turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than 11 strikeouts on Monday. He struck out 12 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has become a key player for Parker: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 0-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Baldenegro and Parker will square off against Yuma Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on March 18th. Parker hasn't beaten Yuma Catholic recently, having gone 0-10 since March of 2017.
