Softball Recap: Duluth East Greyhounds vs. Grand Rapids Thunderhawks
Duluth East not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 10, 2025 (when they won 8-0). They put the hurt on the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks with a sharp 12-4 victory. For the Greyhounds, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win the Thunderhawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.
Jossie Filiatrault spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
