Baseball Game Preview: Royal Falcons vs. Sealy Tigers

For the second straight game, Royal will face off against Sealy. The Falcons will square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Royal has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Sealy will arrive with three straight victories.

Royal came up short against Sealy on Tuesday, falling 23-1.

For Sealy's part, Hagen Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Anderson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tate Anderson was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jackson Blanks, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Sealy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Sealy's record now sits at 9-11. As for Royal, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
