Softball Game Preview: Crestwood Red Devils vs. Kenston Bombers

The Crestwood Red Devils will venture away from home to take on the Kenston Bombers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestwood comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Crestwood fell victim to Wickliffe and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Blue Devils. The match marked the first time this season in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Kenston also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Riverside on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The Bombers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Kenston, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Crestwood was able to grind out a solid win over Kenston in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
