Basketball Recap: Sarasota Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Justin Brock and Noah Spenn

Sarasota Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Cornerstone Charter Academy on Saturday. The match between the Sarasota Christian Blazers and the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks didn't end well, with the Sarasota Christian Blazers falling 50-32.

Despite the loss, Sarasota Christian had strong showings from Noah Spenn, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards, and Justin Brock, who posted 12 points. Brock has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Ben Milliken was another key player, putting up four points and nine rebounds.

Devan Domadia continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cornerstone Charter Academy, going 8 for 15 on his way to 23 points. Another player making a difference was Derick Augustin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards.

Sarasota Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
