Softball Recap: Western Hills Comes Up Short

Western Hills fell victim to Woodford County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Yellowjackets. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Woodford County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9-1 record this season.

Western Hills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Franklin County on the 6th. As for Woodford County, they have also already played their next game, a 10-1 loss against Great Crossing on the 6th.
