Soccer Game Preview: Spring Hill vs. Lincoln County

Spring Hill is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Lincoln County a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Spring Hill Raiders will look to defend their home pitch against the Lincoln County Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Spring Hill fell victim to Columbia Central and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. While losing is never fun, Spring Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Columbia Central are ranked 120th).

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Lincoln County challenged Shelbyville Central on Thursday. The Falcons came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 9-1.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Spring Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Spring Hill took their victory against Lincoln County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-3 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
