Basketball Recap: Lowcountry Leadership Takes a Loss

Lowcountry Leadership was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks, falling 46-23.

Bethune-Bowman can attribute much of their success to Tenia Mack, who posted 17 points. Makiyah Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Lowcountry Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bethune-Bowman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Leadership and Military Magnet Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Military Magnet Academy will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Lowcountry Leadership surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bethune-Bowman, they will take on Palmetto Scholars Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
