Baseball Recap: Indian Hills Gets the Win

Indian Hills's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They skirted past the Waldwick Warriors 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Braves have posted since May 29, 2024.

Jack Birrer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on LJ Renshaw, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Matt O'Shaunossy, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
