Soccer Recap: Corsicana Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Corsicana was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Midlothian Panthers, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Tigers were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Giancarlo Zuniga, who's now up to six this season.

Corsicana's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Midlothian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Corsicana duke it out with the Kaufman at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Corsicana is facing Kaufman at the right time seeing as Kaufman is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Midlothian, they will head out on the road to face off against Crandall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
