Madison is a perfect 10-0 against Sharpstown since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Marlins will venture away from home to face off against the Apollos at 7:00 p.m. Madison is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Madison and Waltrip, and Madison kept the tradition alive. The Marlins were the clear victors by a 49-26 margin over the Rams on Friday. Considering the Marlins have won five contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Darious Hall, Larry Carrington, and De'Andre Columbus picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Waltrip's side was Nathaniel Salas, who picked up a sack and made 18 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Sharpstown, as they earned their first away win of the season. Everything went their way against Austin on Friday as they made off with a 42-16 victory.

Sharpstown's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Madison skirted past Sharpstown 23-20 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Apollos' Dylan Pardo, who rushed for 104 yards and three TDs.
