Softball Recap: Henry Clay Takes a Loss

Henry Clay lost against George Rogers Clark back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Devils lost 14-6 to the Cardinals. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elise Pearson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kyndal Brewster, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs.

Henry Clay's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for George Rogers Clark, their win bumped their record up to 22-10.
