Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Clemens). They strolled past the Chandler Park Academy Eagles with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 52-37. The victory was familiar territory for the Battling Bathers who have now won four matches in a row.

Mt. Clemens got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Leah Williams out in front who posted 16 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Jacqueline Barrientos was another key player, going 7 of 14 on her way to 16 points.

Mt. Clemens smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive contests.

Mt. Clemens pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Chandler Park Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Clemens has already played their next game (against Michigan Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chandler Park Academy will face off against Arts & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
