Baseball Recap: Port Chester Comes Up Short

Port Chester lost against Ossining back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell just short of the Pride by a score of 4-3. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Welinton Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

Port Chester's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Ossining, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Port Chester beat the Pride by a score of 6-1 on Saturday.
