Football Game Preview: Community Christian Royals vs. Dibble Demons

The Community Christian Royals will square off against the Dibble Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Community Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 35 points on September 12th, they were much more limited against Beggs on Friday. They came up short against the Demons, falling 27-7.

Meanwhile, Dibble waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-27 W against the Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Demons have posted since September 20, 2024.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tucker Skipper and Wyatt Malchaski. Skipper rushed for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Malchaski rushed for 184 yards. The dominant performance also gave Skipper a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two).

Dibble was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dibble, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Community Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Dibble in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 14-12. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
