Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey came up short against the Army-Navy Warriors on Friday, falling 3-0.

Cristo Rey was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-10.

Army-Navy found their leader in freshman Sean Germani, who had 26 digs and two assists.

Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Army-Navy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Cristo Rey and Army-Navy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey will challenge rival Bostonia Global at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Army-Navy is set to face off against their familiar foe Del Lago Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
